Weirdly, I appreciate her response. Whining, "but I never wanted him in office anyway" won't help much... but treating him like the president (including staying active on his policy issues, and advocating for your perspectives as if he is a rational and honorable man) might just do some good.

All that said, I am very glad to hear that Mr. FP is learning that voting is something that you do - and should do - every year.
